You Are the Hope — A Poem for Imran Khan

In the silence of your prison walls,
Where time moves heavy, and hope feels small,
A nation breathes your name in prayers—
For you are the light that still declares
That truth may bend, but it does not fall.

For more than two long years you’ve stayed,
Behind the shadows injustice made.
But even in chains, your courage speaks—
A fire that rises when the heart grows weak,
A voice for the broken, the silenced, the afraid.

O Imran, son of Pakistan’s soul,
Though night surrounds, you remain whole.
A leader born not of throne or crown,
But of a dream that refused to drown—
A dream of justice, pure and bold.

From the mountains of Khyber to Sindh’s warm sand,
Your name lives strong in every hand
That lifts in prayer, in grief, in trust—
For even when buried under dust,
Hope rises when you rise to stand.

You are the pulse of a wounded land,
The breath of millions who long to withstand
The storms of oppression, fear, and pain—
For they know that sunshine follows rain,
And freedom blooms where the brave command.

To the Muslim Ummah across the earth,
You are a reminder of faith’s rebirth—
That dignity, courage, and truth combined
Can shake the world, uplift mankind,
And prove what one just heart is worth.

Imran Khan, hear this call—
Though the cell is small, your spirit is tall.
Bars may confine, but they cannot keep
Your vision silent, your promise asleep,
For hope is yours… and yours to enthrall.

Pakistan waits. The Ummah prays.
History watches these unfolding days.
In every heart a flame still burns—
For every winter, spring returns.
And justice walks… in its own ways.

You are the hope that will not fade,
A torch no darkness has ever swayed.
Stand strong, O leader, steadfast and true—
For Pakistan needs the strength in you,
And the world remembers the courage you made.
