Echoes of Empathy: Cease the War, Gaza’s Plea for Humanity’s Sake

Poem

In the folds of night, where stars lose their gleam,

A haunting cry echoes, a plea for a dream.

For the sake of humanity, let the war cease,

In the heart of Gaza, where hopes find release.

Ethnic cleansing’s shadow, a stain on the land,

Gaza, wounded and bleeding, the world’s watchful hand.

The children of sorrow, innocence laid bare,

In the corridors of power, does anyone care?

From the minarets’ heights to the shores’ crashing waves,

Gaza beckons to hearts, for peace it craves.

In the tapestry of suffering, woven so fine,

A plea resonates, “Stop the war, let love shine.”

Oh, the world is watching, from a distance so far,

As Gaza weeps, beneath the moon and the stars.

In the scrolls of history, the pages now turn,

Will humanity rise, or in apathy burn?

Through the alleyways of Rafah, where sorrow is sown,

Gaza’s story unfolds, in every sigh and moan.

Stop the war, for the sake of humanity’s grace,

In the land of resilience, let love find its place.

In the silence of borders, where boundaries divide,

Gaza pleads for compassion, in every tear cried.

Ethnic cleansing’s stain, a dark mark on the earth,

In the name of justice, let hearts find rebirth.

In the eyes of the displaced, where dreams lie shattered,

Gaza is bleeding, its spirit tattered.

Stop the war, for the sake of a child’s innocent smile,

In the face of hatred, let love reconcile.

From the heights of power to the common soul,

Heed the call for peace, let empathy enroll.

Gaza is bleeding, its wounds on display,

For the sake of humanity, let diplomacy sway.

Oh, the world is watching, from continents wide,

As Gaza pleads, in suffering, it abides.

In the heart of conflict, can compassion be found?

For the sake of humanity, let love resound.

Through the ruins of homes and the rubble-strewn street,

Gaza whispers a prayer for a war’s defeat.

In the corridors of power, let conscience ignite,

For the sake of humanity, let peace take flight.

Stop the war, a plea from the depths of despair,

Gaza is bleeding, does the world even care?

In the symphony of nations, let reason prevail,

For the sake of humanity, let compassion set sail.
